Free Entry to the Oregon Zoo to Support Employees Affected by the Government Shut Down

The Oregon Zoo is offering free entry tickets to government employees who are granted temporary leave of absence after a partial government shut down. Federal contractors are also eligible for the free admission to the Oregon Zoo. You must present your federal ID/badge at the ticketing booth if you want to visit the Oregon Zoo for free with your family. Dr. Don Moore, the director or Oregon Zoo, said he hopes that offering free zoo visits can reduce the financial burdens of federal employees. There is no limit as to how many times you can visit the zoo free of charge.
